We’re happy to be able to offer the following courses for the final half term of the year. Please note that Saz will be going on maternity leave from January so we only be offering 2 courses in the New Year with Becky. There may be some individually bookable sewing club classes but these will be announced on the next newsletter along with spaces for Becky’s classes.

Workshops
We are running our Christmas scrunchie making workshop, and Kids Christmas Stocking workshop this coming term. Please click below for full details for either workshop, or book on this page below. All materials included.

Available dates:
Scrunchie - Sunday 19th October 10am - Age 14+ however those who are under 18 must be accompanied by a booking adult.
Kids Christmas Stocking - 22nd November 10am - Age 7+, must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
Beginner Overlocker Lesson Zero
Learn how to thread up and use your overlocker. Samples for working with woven and jersey fabrics, and make a 3D project. No prior experience necessary!
You don’t need to have your own overlocker, but if you don’t you will need to rent one of ours. Please add the appropriate overlocker rental via the buttons below.

SEWING CLUB - for all
Bring your own projects and get help where it is needed.
If you have projects unfinished that need that push to get them complete, or if you want to try something new but have been unable to find the confidence at home. These classes are for you. You can also choose any garment from a course listed in our website - a small notions fee is required to cover pattern and mock up fabric.
This term the course will run for 6 weeks, starting on the dates below. Each session is 2 hours long.
Skill level: You don’t need to have been on a course with us before, but you need to have made something before. Either at home on your own or at a different class/group. Or been on one or more classes with us.
This course will not be suitable for absolute beginners, who can’t use a machine or haven’t made anything before.
Please don’t book this course if you can’t use a sewing machine, it will not be suitable. Please book our beginner lesson zero or beginner dressmaking course - see further down.

Beginner dressmaking course
Make your first garment, or get back in to dressmaking on our beginner dressmaking course. Make a basic skirt over 5 consecutive weeks, starting on the dates below.
You must be able to already use a sewing machine to book this course. If you don’t know how to thread it up and sew straight stitch, you will need to book our lesson zero too (above).
