We’re back from summer holiday and are happy to be able to offer the following, starting in September:

Private tuition slots are currently unavailable online this term - however please get in touch as we can work a few in to the schedule on an individual basis.

Please see below for our class options that aren’t yet available to book on our main website. These will be advertised on all platforms mid week (if any remain), so please do book in early to avoid missing out.

Workshops

We are running our Sashiko style visible mending, and our Christmas scrunchie making workshops this coming term. Please click below for full details for either workshop.

Available dates:

Sashiko - Sunday 5th October 10am | Scrunchie - Sunday 19th October 10am

Both workshops are available for age 14+, however those who are under 18 must be accompanied by a booking adult.

SEWING CLUB - for all

Bring your own projects and get help where it is needed.

If you have projects unfinished that need that push to get them complete, or if you want to try something new but have been unable to find the confidence at home. These classes are for you. You can also choose any garment from a course listed n our website - a small notions fee is required to cover pattern and mock up fabric.

This term the course will run for 6 weeks, starting on the dates below. Each session is 2 hours long.

Skill level: You don’t need to have been on a course with us before, but you need to have made something before. Either at home on your own or at a different class/group. Or been on one or more classes with us.

This course will not be suitable for absolute beginners, who can’t use a machine or haven’t made anything before.

Please don’t book this course if you can’t use a sewing machine, it will not be suitable. Please book our beginner lesson zero or beginner dressmaking course - see further down.

Beginner Lesson Zero

Learn how to thread up and work your machine, basic stitches, seams and hems, and make your first useful 3D project. No prior experience necessary!

Beginner dressmaking course

Make your first garment, or get back in to dressmaking on our beginner dressmaking course. Make a basic skirt over 5 consecutive weeks, starting on the dates below.

You must be able to already use a sewing machine to book this course. If you don’t know how to thread it up and sew straight stitch, you will need to book our lesson zero too (above).
