Our combined training and knowledge of over 30 years of sewing has made us want to share our skills and tricks of the trade with you so we can get everyone sewing again. We wanted to make it easy for people who may be a little scared of starting, to come on a class or course and leave feeling like they have improved, and with a bit of confidence in their own ability.

Past and current students have said they love coming to learn with us as the environment is very friendly and supportive. They have complimented us on the content we include and the amount they take away from even just one 2 hour evening class.

We run sewing classes and courses in East Surrey for anyone from a beginner to an advanced level of sewing and dressmaking. We also have specific improver classes for those of an intermediate level who want to push their skill level forward.
We are based across Redhill and Reigate depending on whether it is one of our evening classes or a day course.

Ideally located for budding sewers coming from Redhill, Reigate, Horley, Crawley, Nutfield, Bletchingly, Godstone, Dorking, Caterham, Tadworth, Banstead, Horsham, Epsom and Guilford. We are even convenient for those based in or near London and Brighton, as we are only a short walk from a train or bus station. We also have parking available for those driving to us. If you are travelling on public transport we have equipment you may hire or borrow if notified in advance to save you carrying your own. For specified classes only.

Our current sewing classes comprise of an absolute beginner introduction session, a set of beginner dressmaking classes and improver dressmaking courses of various garments changing every term. We now also have sewing club courses available where students can bring their own projects. This year we also added a beginner plus dressmaking course option for those looking for a stepping stone to improve their skills, if an improver course felt a step too far.

Roughly every other term we now run overlocker lesson zero, and an overlocker beginner course for those keen to improve their confidence on their overlocker or serger.

We offer private sewing tuition on topics to suit our students. This includes overlocker or serger lessons and alterations, and we can adapt all our courses to be taught in this format.

We have also run alterations and pattern drafting classes, and will do again in the future.

If you would prefer to learn in your own home, we have a virtual version of our beginner lesson zero available, and a virtual version of our beginner dressmaking will be available very soon.

We run classes throughout the day including morning courses, lunchtime courses, afternoon courses and evening courses. Usually on Mondays and Tuesdays during term time.

We now offer machine hire/machine rental for those booking beginner courses but do not have their own machine.

As well as all this you can also buy online gift cards that can be used at the checkout on our website. Perfect for a birthday or Christmas present.

We look forward to teaching you to sew!
