Once you receive your kit box in the post, there will be directions on the card included, for how to immediately access your video tutorial and digital handouts. So you can start your course as soon as it arrives!

Content: The course

This virtual course covers the following topics, which is the same for those students who attend in person:

Getting to know your machine and how to thread it up.
How to do basic skills and stitches and why you would need them.
Two seam samples, and two hem samples for use in 3D projects.
Your first working 3D project using some of these samples.

content: The Handouts

Alongside your virtual tutorial, you will also have access to 4 digital information handouts, 1 for each section, that we also email to students who attend in person. These contain step by steps for some sections and generally compliment the course for you to get the most out of your learning experience with us.

These can be kept online for reference, or printed out at home if you would prefer to have them physically as you go through the tutorial.
